Don't forget to check out your child's blog (and their classmates blogs!) under the E-Portfolios tab. Feel free to leave them comments and ask them questions about their work! Your child will receive something special when you do!
Please check the 6S calendar under the "students" tab at the top of this page. Nightly homework assignments and important dates are located here!
Just a reminder that study hall is offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-3:45. This is a time when your child can receive extra support, ask questions, and have a quiet place to work. Please let me know when your child is staying for study hall.
Reading
This week we will be reading several nonfiction informational pieces and studying the layout of each text and the importance it has. We will also be discovering how informational pieces can be enhanced with personal stories and by highlighting pros and cons.
