It was 11 in the morning on a Sunday. My dad was taking a look at his lineup making sure he was ready for week 9 of Fantasy Football! He handed it to me and I went to my team and saw my Quarterback Andrew Luck was on a bye week. I was fine with that knowing I have a awesome backup Quarterback who is Carson Wentz! So I scrolled down and put Carson Wentz in my starting Quarterback position. The reason me and my dad were making sure our lineups were perfect was because we were versing each other. Last time we versed my dad won. I need my sweet revenge! Everything else on my lineup looked good so now I am going to wait until football ends tonight. Later on, that night I told my dad we should check our fantasy before we go to bed so he looked first and I watched his face to see what expression he would make and he smiled. I knew that was not a good sign. He handed the phone to me and I looked at my team. It said Tyler's Cheese Heads 67! I knew by that who had won. I looked at my dad's team it said 79! This meant I had lost yet again to my dad. I was a little disappointed and mad about what happened but I had a lot of fun playing. I know I am probably not going to win my fantasy division but I need to beat my dad sometime this year, and I will make sure it happens I can't wait to take on my dad again to take the WIN!
It was a normal day in the morning. I was just waking up and saw my mom watching the news witch was unusual. I asked my mom, "Why are you watching the news?" She said "There is something going on here in woodridge" I was freaking out because I thought there was a murderer going around. I just forgot about it until I got to lunch that school day. I asked my friend Micah, whats going on around here?" Micah said "There are these people dressing in clown suits and going to schools and other places threatening people with knives." I was really starting to freak out because if they are coming around woodridge schools they can attack us during recess. I felt very scared and nervous because there could be a clown anywhere at any time. I do not like this because every 5 minutes I look out my class window and I do the same at home making sure they are not watching us. When I got home I was home alone and when I walked into my house I locked the door behind me and made sure my windows where locked. I will keep doing this same routine until the clowns get caught by the cops. I never feel safe even when I do these things when I get home. The only time I feel safe is when my mom and dad are with me. I really hope the cops catch the clowns soon or i'm going to die from being so nervous.
I was so happy! I was walking up to the entrance of Wrigley Field! The reason was so happy was because this was going to be my first Cubs game. Now I am a White Sox fan but I still wanted to see the experience of being at Wrigley field. When I walked in it was crazy! Everyone was running around trying to get the best seats. It was very loud! There were people getting interviewed by people to be on TV. We were in the bleachers in left field. The bleachers are awesome but if you get up and go to grab some food or drinks then don't expect your seats back. The thing about the bleachers is you can sit wherever you want so you don't have assigned seats. We got to Wrigley very early for batting practice and that starts like 1 hour before the game starts! We started walking down to find some empty seats, me and my cousin Will ran down to the wall because we saw a ball get hit to the outfielder and the outfielder picked the ball up and looked into the stands and he looked right at me and pointed at me and threw it! I caught it in my MIT and was very excited! We kept standing there waiting until another ball came to the outfielder so my cousin Will could get a ball also. We finally saw a ball get hit to the wall and the outfielder once again picked it up and he threw it in the air randomly and I saw this other kid my age leap up and jump for it and I threw my MIT right in front of his and caught it! I handed it to my cousin and we were both very happy. The other kid gave me a dirty look but I did not care I just wanted to get the ball for my cousin. Me and Will were both super happy the rest of the day!
It was around 10:30 at night and was storming, my friend Luke was over and we were in the basement when we heard Luke's dad say "C'mon Luke we got to go" Luke said "OK i'm coming"
Luke said "bye!" After about 5 minutes I went upstairs and saw Luke's car pulling out of the driveway. After he left I went to go and see what my dog Stella was doing. I called "Stella!" I waited a few seconds... Then I called her again "Stella!" I started walking down the hallway while I was walking I looked into every bedroom and she was not there. I even checked the basement and she was not there. That is when I realized "STELLA'S GONE!" I rushed upstairs and told my dad and mom and all three of us rushed out the door yelling "STELLA!" We saw her sprint down the street across from my house. My heart was pounding out of my chest! I started to run down my driveway in the pouring rain. Then out of no ware a big lightning bolt struck in the sky, then BOOM! A huge clap of thunder I looked at the street Stella ran down and saw her running in my direction, I tried to grab her but missed. She ran right passed me and up the driveway and around the corner. I ran after her and saw her standing by the back door, I grabbed her collar and opened the door. She walked in and shook off all the wet rain onto me. I did not care though because I was already soaked. I hugged Stella and was very happy she was safe. My mom and dad came back. We were happy we got her back but that was the scariest moment for me, my mom, and dad ever! |
