Today was the Halloween dance, and everyone at school was bubbling with excitement. I was too, of course. I was meeting with my friends Rheya and Kiera. We all had a theme. We were all going to go as dolls. Creepy ones too. Kiera was going to be Annabelle, Rheya was going to be Chucky, And I'm just, well, a plain creepy doll with a teddy bear, but on Halloween, I was going to be Jigsaw, from the movie "Saw". I was so excited.
At the end of the day, after I got home from school, I spent the evening putting on my costume and Halloween makeup. I was finally ready after about a hour, wearing my white bloody dress, white tights, black buckle shoes, a teddy bear, and then the wig. Oh, so hate that wig. It was black, itchy, hot, all tangled up, and I absolutely hated it. I still wore it though. It made my costume look creepy, and without it, my costume didn't look good. I got into the car, and headed over to the dance.
Later on, Rheya, Kiera and I, were on the dance floor, dancing to the D.J's music having a good time, until I stopped. My wig itched horribly. Then, came the heat. Sweat covered my head, sending my Halloween makeup into my eyes as the sweat rolled down my face. I couldn't take it anymore. I sprinted into the bathroom, and ripped off my wig. I sighed as I felt the rush of cool, sweet wind from the vents on my face. I didn't want to move. I felt so good. I stood thee in the bathroom cooling down, until Rheya and Kiera came running in. Rheya ripped off her wig just like I did before, and let out a sigh of relief. I saw that her head, too, was drenched in sweat. We both complained about how itchy and hot our wigs were, saying that Kiera was super lucky she wasn't wearing a wig. We eventually didn't want to talk anymore, and we just sat there, cooling ourselves. As we stood in silence, as I thought about what I was going to do to with my wig on Halloween. I needed to come up with a plan, and be prepared for the torture that my wig will bring on Halloween.
